Blairgowrie
Great dive today with Brett, Mary Anne, Lauren and Graeme
With Eamonn , one hour 16 degrees, rays, schools of fish
Easy dive with simon and craig. Nice dice and a good way to get the gear checked and settled before we start on boats.
Dive with Simon today , almost on our own and the conditions were near perfect.
entered about 15 minutes after high tide with no wind and very flat.
Nice dive with craig , craig testing his new strobe and lights and me the TG6. Very pleased at how the tg6 worked considering only lighting was from handheld video light. Pics shown with small crops only . But conditions were very good.
A great 80 minute dive under the pier , diving conditions are very good at this time of the year.
Last minute dive at Blairgowrie, next few days dont look like divable conditions so it was today or never. And a very good dive it was with very calm conditions and a reasonable amount of sea life out and about.
Nice dive with Remi today at Blairgowrie,Been awhile since we have done here, and the life is slowly coming back after the construction works, although sea life is still somewhat limited. Dive was about 3 hours before high tide, with current only becoming noticeable toward end of dive.
A dive at Blairgowrie, but changes with the pier extensions have seen sand dredged being built up under the outer wall, to almost level with the bottom of the sea wall. But still an enjoyable dive and a spotted stingray for something different.
Sand now under the seawall, so now a shallow dive. |
A nice lazy Sunday morning dive at one of the better piers in Victoria.Although life was a little bit quite compared to other days, there were some spider crabs around,
Very Nice Saturday dive with Simon and Remi, testing out the new strobes and lights still so under a familiar pier was a good way to go. The conditions were good although the tide was running for the first part of the dive.Note they have begun the rebuild of the sailing club so there is no direct access to the pier or toilet facilities now. Enter and exit via the beach.
Very nice pier dive today with Simon Kay, conditions were great with sunshine and very calm diving conditions. First dive with Aeris A300 CS dive computer.Time 1:23 minutes
Good dive with Mary Anne , who was trying out her new dry suit , just try and guess which brand...Fairly normal dive for blairgowrie but went for a wander straight out from the end of the pier, evidently there is some old pier or breakwater there somewhere. didn't find it but did get down to 12 metres. tried the macro lens rather than the fisheye today. and a big thanks to Mary Anne for picking up my sola light and arm that dropped off the camera and I didn't notice..
Mary Anne with her new dry suit |
Nice dive with Lynne, Craig and Simon. the pier was a bit disappointing today in terms of fish life, so photos a bit dull , but good practice with strobes and focussing, still nice to be underwater!!
Dive at blairgowrie pier, one of my favorite dive sites. Today JJ was trying out his new camera with Reemie and I using the residual air from this mornings dive.
